How is your program different from other after school programs and "child care" centers?
- Our program is focused on providing engaging activities based on STEM / STEAM concepts. We provide a structured program for your child while making it fun and interesting! Our facility is owned and operated by licensed educators who can provide true homework assistance and explain activities and projects. Our activities are fun and educational. Your child will be exposed to all types of technology resources that other programs do not provide.
Does my child need to be in the STEM class at their current school?
- No! Our program is designed to provide hands on enrichment to any student!
Are you open on teacher work days?
- Yes! We are open from 7:30 am - 6:30 pm on days when the school is closed for teacher planning. There is no additional fee for teacher work days if you are enrolled in our full time after school program, but you must provide a lunch for your child. There may be an additional charge for some field trips taken on teacher work days.
What holidays are you closed for?
- We will be closed on the following holidays: New Years Day, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving Day and the day after, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day, and New Years Eve.
- We will make arrangements for parents that must have child care on certain holidays. Please contact the center for prices
Do you offer any specials or free weeks?
- Based on the nature of our program and our amount of technology, gaming stations, and hands on activities, we do not offer "free weeks" for registering.
My child's school is not on the pick-up list. Can I make arrangements to have them picked up?
- Due to our current schedule and limited space, we only pick up from the schools listed on our after school page. We do have an option for parents to drop off for a discounted rate.
Is there an additional cost for full day services during Thanksgiving Break, Christmas / Winter Break, and Spring Break?
- Yes. Please contact us directly for current pricing. You will need to send in a lunch with your child and money for any special trips that may take during the breaks.
Can my child attend for Holidays and Teacher Planning Days if they are not currently enrolled?
- Yes! We require a student/parent information page and a medical release on file. Call 863.647.0010 for more information.
