To provide high quality enrichment services to students based on the S.T.E.M. concepts of science, technology, engineering, and math.
VISION
Minds in Motion will provide enrichment focused on students interest, knowledge and skills by incorporating concepts based on science, technology, engineering and math. Children will have access to an activity based after-school program that will reinforce and expand on traditional school concepts. Children will be encouraged to be successful, independent, critical thinkers.
OUR FACILITY
Unlike our competitors, we offer advanced technology programs, computer research stations, hands on exploration of science and engineering, and thematic units that are interesting and educational - all in one location. Our goal is to provide quality enrichment and academic support in a caring, nurturing after school environment. We serve children enrolled in kindergarten through eighth grade. Kids experience brain based hands on experimentation and activities designed to align and reinforce what is already being taught in the classroom. Since we know the curriculum that is being taught we can spend time exploring each concept in a fun and engaging way the classroom teacher may not have time to in a traditional setting.
OUR OWNERS
Minds in Motion is owned and operated by two Florida teachers who have been in the education field for a combined total of over 18 years! The experience they bring to the program is uncommon in regular after school centers!
